CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -
Every year Tower City Center expects large crowds attending the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
This year the crowds were just too big to maintain the safety of patrons due to overcrowding which lead to the mall being closed.
Cleveland Police report the mall closing following a fight in the food court. Several police cars were sent to Tower City to diffuse the situation and to keep the crowd under control on Public Square.
Tower City General Manager Lisa A. Kreiger says that access is being allowed for guests to and from the RTA, Valet, and the Self-parking lots.
Morton's, Hard Rock, Houlihan's, Lincoln Tap House and the Cinema remain open through-out this evening.

According to Jenny Febbs with Team NEO the challenge will be getting our young educated population to stay home as well as attracting people from other parts of the county.More >>
