The Ohio State Buckeyes won their third Big Ten Tournament Championship in the last four years after defeating Wisconsin 50-43 on Sunday in Chicago.
Wisconsin lead the Buckeyes by a point at the half, but even then Ohio State had the momentum. The Badgers had been leading 24-15, but the Buckeyes went on an 8-0 run to close the half. They went on to outscore Wisconsin 27-19 in the second half and put it away.
DeShaun Thomas lead all scorers with 17 points.
Later, Ohio State found out they'd been slotted as the 2-seed in the West Region. They'll play 15th seeded Iona on Friday in Dayton. The Gaels finished the season with a 20-13 record.
