AKRON, OH (WOIO) -
An Akron Rite Aid was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the store on Kenmore Boulevard.
The employees reported the suspect entered the store, showed the clerk a handgun and demanded money. While the clerk was getting the money from the register, the suspect demanded the clerk's wallet. The suspect fled the store with an unreported amount of cash and the clerk's wallet.
The suspect is a black man, 25-30 years old, 5'07" - 5'10", 190 - 200 lbs., wearing all dark clothing.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Akron Police at 330-375-2181.
