Cleveland family asks for help in unsolved murder

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Still no arrests or motive in a nearly four month old murder investigation.

A Cleveland family and police are still searching for answers and hope to make an arrest in a deadly shooting near an east side auto body shop. 

It happened November 20, 2012 at the corner of Lotus and Miles.

Police say the victim, 46-year-old Eddie Morrison was approached by two teens, when one pulled out a gun and shot him in the stomach.

"It's not about snitching it's about taking back our neighborhood and getting these criminals off the street," said Tabatha Morrison, victim's wife.

Eddie's family and friends met Monday under a Crime Stoppers billboard that features his murder. They are all fighting back and telling Cleveland they need a tip to break this case. wide open.

"Whoever did this, they think they can get away with it. That's why we are here. We want them to know we are not going to stop until they are caught," said Valerie Harrison.

Morrison was rushed to Metro where he died.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information in connection with this incident to contact the Fourth District Detective Bureau at 216-623-5218.

A reward is being offered for any tips that lead to an arrest.
