Canton man popped for pot

LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

A 21-year-old Canton man busted with marijuana in Lorain County.

Troopers stopped a 2008 Dodge Charger with Ohio registration for failing to display a front license plate violation on I-80 shortly after 2:30 p.m. on St. Patrick's Day.

Upon approaching the vehicle, troopers detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside. A probable cause search revealed three gallon size bags containing approximately 447 grams of marijuana. The contraband has a street value of $4,470.

The driver, Jerald Bernard Robinson II, was arrested and charged with drug possession and trafficking in drugs.
