The Jury is in: Craigslist killer's sentencing verdict reached

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

The jury deciding if the convicted Craigslist killer should be put to death or put in prison for life has reached a decision.

Jurors started deliberating in the death penalty phase of Richard Beasley's trial around 2:30 pm Wednesday.

They reportedly came back with a verdict around 5:10 pm.

Beasley was convicted last week on three counts of aggravated murder for the deaths of Ralph Geiger, Timothy Kern and David Pauley.

19 Action News has a crew at the courthouse.
