19 Action News reporters have been outdoors all day looking for people to talk to about the springtime snowfall.
Blake Chenault talked to a group of guys who played rugby in it. "We have a tournament in two weeks we have to be ready for it snow does not matter."
When we came across lifelong Clevelander Carol Tuff, she was brushing off her car for the umteenth time this season but still enjoying the snow. "I like looking out my window and watching the snow come down."
Al Meyers of Ken's Auto and Towing sees this late season snow as money in the bank, "More dollars and more revenue."
Plow drivers like Matt Goglin are also cashing in, "It's the end of the season and we are able to make extra money it's almost April."
Pine Lodge cross country Ski area remains closed until the weather changes but until then the area serves just fine for walking the dogs.
19 Action News reporter George Smith met folks that said spring shoveling is just a fact of life in Chardon.
Tom Ray, the owner of Morgan's place on the square, has cleaning up down to a science from the ground to the awning.
Spring scraping is a fact of life too. In fact, no one here is surprised by this stormy weather.
Still, as the snow plows gear up for yet another round of work, some folks are getting weary.
We spoke with several folks here who are heading out of town...the Virgin Islands, South Carolina and Mexico.
While on snow patrol, Scott Taylor saw flakes off and on all the way to Chardon and ran into Roger Arvogast hitting it hard in Chardon pushing around a lot of snow with his lawn tractor.
Roger Avogast says "It started last night. Just small flurries. We got 6 inches. It's Chardon."
All the way out East from Cleveland roads are plowed but flakes are still flying.
Spring officially hit Northeast Ohio Wednesday morning at 7:02 but apparently Boreas, the Greek God of the North Wind, didn't get the message. He continues to blow his cold breath across a chilled Lake Erie.
Harry Boomer asked several people the same question, "When the weather breaks, when the sun is shining and the angels are singing, what's the first thing you're going to do?"
"Oh my gosh walk my dog. I don't know, enjoy my son's wedding. He's getting married in a couple weeks. So hopefully the sun will be shining and it will be warm on April the sixth," says Laura Geuther.
"Woo... I'm going to go to the driving range for sure... hit some golf balls and go golfing. That's what I really want to do most," says Matt Robinson.
"Get my little baby grandson out and walk around the neighborhood that's what I'm looking forward to when the weather breaks," John Blazek.
Kimiko Nakamura a personal trainer at the soon-to-be opened Dimepiece gym says come rain snow or shine she's intent on living a healthy life, "I'm definitely going to get a tan, that's for sure. Because I can't stand this depressing Ohio weather."
Bob Dolan walks his dog every day in the heart of the snow belt but just got back from South Carolina and 70 degrees.
Bob Dolan told our Scott Taylor, "I can remember us having snow into May."
Some folks in Chardon are predicting two more weeks of possible snow fall in Chardon and then we will start to see some front lawns and green grass!
