Promedica launches life-saving stroke technology

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Every second can mean the difference between life and death when someone is experiencing a stroke.

Promedica is working to get care to stroke patients faster through new, time-saving technology.

Regardless of where the health emergency occurs, a stroke specialist can access patients' data and properly diagnose them.

Amanda St. Hilaire has a live demonstration from St. Luke's Hospital on ‘Your Morning,' beginning at 5:30 a.m. Watch her interview here.

Health experts say common stroke symptoms to watch for include tingling or numbness of the face, which can cause a crooked smile or drooping of the eye; weakness, numbness, or tingling in an arm; and slurred or garbled speech.
