Atlanta (WOIO) - Marreese Speights threw down 15 of his team-high 23 points in the fourth quarter, but even that wasn't enough to save the Cavaliers, as their rally fell short against the Hawks, and their losing streak continues, 102-94 the final at Philips Arena on Monday night.
Devin Harris led the Hawks with a game-high 25 points, and Jeff Teague added 19, as the Hawks stayed a few steps ahead all night.
Shaun Livingston added 14 for the Cavs, one of five Cavaliers in double figures.
The Cavs were playing without Kyrie Irving, who returned from the shoulder injury on Sunday, but was held out for precautionary reasons, and fellow guards Dion Waiters and C.J. Miles.
The loss was the 9th straight for the Cavs, and 51st overall.
