The Albany Panthers are undefeated and well deserving of last week's bye.
Now, the team is back at it, preparing for the Knoxville Nighthawks.
The team says the week off was crucial for the health of the team's veterans.
But, sometimes bye weeks can lead to falling into bad habits.
The team says the key is coming back not only well rested, but with the same intensity and focus the team had going into the bye.
"The main thing is everybody needs to come back in shape, well rested, and knowing we have a big job to do," says Panthers DB Demetrie McCray. "Because once you have the week off, you tend to get complacent, so our main thing is to come back in fully focused and ready for the next opponent."
The Panthers kick off against the Nighthawks Friday night at 7 in Knoxville.
