STRONGSVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

After two full days of negotiations, there is no resolution in the ongoing teachers strike in Strongsville.

The two sides met yet again with a federal mediator on Thursday, and the meeting didn't end till after 11 p.m. No deal was struck.

There is another meeting slated for 1 p.m. Friday.

The district is asking teachers to pay more of the healthcare costs. Teachers want to unfreeze a merit pay system the district had.

Friday will mark the end of the the union's fifth week on the picket lines.
