CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Make-A-Wish is proud to hold the BIG Wish Gala.

The event is being held April 11, 2013 at Cleveland Browns Stadium - Legends Club.

The evening's guest of honor is a special five-year old, Tatiyanna Tate, who was born with sickle cell disease.

"I first found out she had sickle cell when I was pregnant, about six or seven months pregnant," said Tatiyanna's mom. "She had her first crisis wen she was six months old. Then from about six months to two years old she had 13 or 14 admissions. She was very, very, sick. That's when we decided she needed a bone marrow transplant."

Tatiyanna's dream is to go to Disney World and dance with Mickey Mouse. And thanks to Make-A-Wish, Tatiyanna's brother, sister and parents will all celebrate her survival with her in sunny Florida.

In addition to Tatiyanna, the evening will feature more stories of inspiration from other children who received a wish of a lifetime as well as a fabulous sit down dinner, live and silent auction, and a few surprises.

The program begins at 5:30 pm.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. All proceeds from this event will help grant the wishes of children in northeast Ohio.
