TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo police need the public's help identifying a man who tried to rob a west Toledo pharmacy over the weekend.

According to the police report, around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, a black male dressed in dark clothes entered Monroe Pharmacy in the 4100 block of Monroe Street in Toledo. As he approached the counter, he pulled down a ski mask over his face. The clerk then screamed, and the suspect fled on foot southbound across Monroe on Bellevue Road.

Witnesses said the suspect had what appeared to be a gun covered by a sock in his hand.
