Suspect in bridge bomb plot competent to stand trial

SUMMIT COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

The fifth suspect in the bridge bomb plot has been found competent to stand trial.

Joshua Stafford will return to court on Thursday for a hearing.

Stafford and four other men were arrested on April 30, 2012, accused of plotting to blow up the Route 82 bridge in Brecksville.

The other four suspects - Doug Wright, Brandon Baxter, Connor Stevens and Anthony Hayne - are already serving multiple year prison sentences.
