Browns owner Jimmy Haslam speaks out about the raid at his family's business in Knoxville, TN.

The FBI and IRS have launched a criminal investigation into the Pilot/ Flying J company.

In a news conference Tuesday afternoon in Knoxville, Haslam says the investigation centers around rebates.

He says authorities claim rebates owed to trucking companies were not paid. He continued to reiterate an insignificant number of companies are involved in the criminal investigation.

During the raid Monday, agents raided the office and asked employees to give them their name and then they were allowed to leave the building.

Local police blocked the main entrance. All afternoon long, FBI agents could be seen coming in and out of the building and putting things in a large white truck.

All the workers were completely caught off guard by the arrival of the agents.

Haslam released a statement Monday, saying in part, "I believe and trust there has been no wrongdoing. The integrity of our company always has been job number one."

He also adds that he is confident the matter will be resolved.

Haslam is also the owner of the Cleveland Browns.

Brown's training camp opens on Tuesday afternoon.

During the news conference Haslam apologized to the city and the team, even though he says he has not done anything wrong.

The Browns owner says he is planning to return to Cleveland Thursday for practice and preparing for the NFL Draft next week.
