AURORA, IN (FOX19) -

A man accused of murdering an Aurora, Ind. woman could get life in prison without parole.

Charles Robert Stephenson, 58, of Walton, is accused of beating Leigh Jennings to death with a skillet and pepper grinder.

Jennings was found last April in her apartment.

Dearborn County prosecutors have now filed a notice of intent to seek life in prison without parole for Stephenson.

If not life, he faces up to 115 years in prison if convicted on charges of murder and robbery.

Trial is scheduled to begin May 6.
