AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Police in Akron are trying to find the Good Samaritan who found murder victim's phone. The helper left before anybody could find out his name.

On April 18 cops were called to 42 Kimlyn Circle. Four bodies were found in the basement of the home. Police say Ronald Roberts, 24, Kem Delaney, 23, Maria Nash and Kiana Welch, both 19, were all shot, execution style.

A few days after the murders, a man walked into a nearby Subway Restaurant asking if anyone lost a phone.

Police say the phone belonged to one of the murder victims.

Police stress the man is NOT a suspect or a person of interest. They only want to talk to him to find out were exactly he found the phone.

The man who picked up the phone is asked to call the detective bureau at (330) 375-2490 as soon as possible.

Anybody with information on the helper or the murders is also asked to give police a call.

Crime Stoppers, meantime, is offering an up $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the quadruple homicide.
