Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco was hit in the elbow by a line drive in the Columbus Clippers game against Wilkes-Barre Scranton on Thursday night.
Carrasco was diagnosed with a deep contusion of the right elbow/forearm area and is listed as day-to-day.
The Indians pitcher was sent down to Columbus on April 10th after starting against the Yankees the previous night. If he is called back up by the Tribe, he is facing an eight game suspension for throwing at Kevin Youkilis.
