A court hearing into the investigation of Jimmy Haslam's family business took place in a Tennessee courtroom on Monday.

The FBI is investigating a rebate program at the Browns owner's truck stop business, Pilot Flying J.

19 Action News reported last week a Georgia trucking company was the first to file a lawsuit against Pilot Flying J and claims of rebate fraud.

Haslam was already on the phone trying to pay back any rebate money owed to truck companies.

The lawyers with Atlantic Coast Carriers took issue with that, and asked a judge to put an end to Haslam calling customers.

The judge ruled that Haslam can keep calling anyone who might have been touched by the recent FBI raid on Pilot Flying J.

The judge said there was no proof that Haslam is tampering with witnesses. He said the trucking company was relying on media reports and not evidence or an actual complaint.

Haslam has denied any wrongdoing. There are no charges in the case.
