Victim's family speaks out about gruesome murder

OLMSTED TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

Family members are talking about a cousin brutally killed and dumped into a pond.

Relatives of Carl Acoff want justice.  

The victim, a member of the transgender community.

Acoff's body was found badly decomposed in a pond in Olmsted Township on April 17th and police have no leads.

Family members say they think it's a hate crime.

Now Acoff's loved ones are making funeral arrangements while a killer is still out on the streets.

The family wants answers and say they don't understand why anyone who have done this.

Funeral services for Acoff are Monday 10 a.m. at The Temple Baptist Church in East Cleveland.
