NBA Playoffs: Knicks Outpaced by Indiana

NEW YORK--- Brooklyn native Lance Stephenson recorded a double-double (11 points and 13 rebounds) in his first playoff game at Madison Square Garden as Indiana beat the Knicks 102 to 95. The Pacers now own a 1-0 lead in their Eastern Conference playoff series.

David West finished with 20 points, Paul George added 19 and D.J. Augustin scored 16 for the Pacers. Raymond Felton led the Knicks in scoring with 18 points. Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith combined to go 14-for-43 on the game. Anthony scored 15 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter.

After starting the postseason 3-0, the Knicks have lost three of four. The Pacers out rebounded the Knicks, 44-30, and 11-6 on the offensive glass.

Game 2 is Tuesday night.
