STRONGSVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

Workers install a motorcycle warning sign at the intersection of Royalton and Prospect in Strongsville.

The sign was put in place Thursday morning as part of Allstate Insurance Company's Motorcycle ONE campaign.

It is intended to help drivers be aware of motorcycles entering intersections. ONE stands for "once is never enough."

Allstate encourages drivers to look left, right and left again before proceeding through an intersection.

Forty-six percent of motorcycle crashes in the U.S. occur in intersections, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

There were 1,715 motorcycle crashes in Cuyahoga County from 2008-2012, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
