CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Indians released a timetable of rehab assignments and possible return dates for five players on Thursday.  Here is what the team released.

Brett Myers (strained tendon, right elbow): Progressing thru long-toss portion of throwing program. Progressing to first bullpen on Saturday, May 11.

Josh Tomlin (right elbow rehab): Is nine months post-op and continues to do well with his bullpen-mound progression.

Blake Wood (right elbow rehab): Rehab assignment on May 4 for Double-A Akron. Next outing TBD due to discomfort in his surgically repaired right elbow (May 25, 2012).  Expected to resume rehab assignment in the coming days when soreness subsides.

Lou Marson (right shoulder strain): Given clearance to initiate throwing program.

Vinnie Pestano (right elbow tendonitis):  Scheduled to resume throwing program this weekend. Not expected to miss an extended amount of time.
