20-year-old motorcyclist killed in Stark County crash

PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) -

A deadly motorcycle accident in Perry Township.

According to the State Highway Patrol, 20-year-old John M. Fellouzis was traveling north on Perry Drive and lost control of the motorcycle after applying his brakes on Friday, May 3. The motorcycle then overturned onto its side and the operator was ejected.

He was rushed from the crash scene to Aultman Hospital by Perry Township EMS. He was then transported to the Cleveland Clinic where he passed away on May 11. 

19 Action News has learned Fellouzis only had a temporary motorcycle endorsement and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

This is the ninth fatal crash in Stark County in 2013.
