Authorities search for missing man in Berlin Wildlife Area

PORTAGE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

On Friday, May 17th, wildlife officials confirm that a search is underway in Berlin wildlife area for a missing person.

Authorities are searching for Jeffrey J. Hathaway, 45, of Norton.

Division of Wildlife personnel are searching the Berlin Wildlife area and searching the water hasn't been ruled out.

Hathaway's car was towed away after being found in the dog training area.

After an officer called the car in, he was informed that the owner had been reported missing in Norton.

No foul play is suspected in his disappearance.
