CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

City Hall held their first disciplinary hearing today for Cleveland police supervisors involved in a massive chase last November that ended with officers firing 137 shots and killing two people.

Four supervisors went before Safety Director Martin Flask. Others will go before him later in the week, and still more will have disciplinary hearings before the Chief.

The hearings focus only on the chase. The County Prosecutor is reviewing the shooting for any criminal charges. And so far, administrative charges have only been filed against police bosses. Administrative charges still are expected against potentially dozens of patrol officers.

Union bosses spoke for the officers.

The supervisors going before the safety director face the most severe punishment - even up to firing. No rulings are expected today.

Last November, dozens of police cars chased Timothy Russell across town and into East Cleveland. Officers first saw the car speeding and heard what appeared to be a gunshot coming from it. The driver refused to stop, and officers reported seeing a weapon in the car, but no gun was ever found.  Police ultimately killed Russell and his passenger, Malissa Williams.
