TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Toledo Public Schools teacher pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to receiving child porn on his home computer.

Bruce Omlor, 50, was a special education teacher at Riverside Elementary School. He was placed on paid leave back in April 2012 after the school district was notified by federal investigators about the allegations and wanted to check his work computer.

In December, he was indicted on the three charges, then TPS suspended him without pay.

On Tuesday, Omlor settled for a plea agreement. He faces at least five years in prison.

After his guilty plea, TPS released this statement:

"We've been notified about his guilty plea and we've got in contact with our attorneys to discuss a full dismissal."

As part of the plea agreement, charges of distribution and possession of child pornography are to be dismissed at the time of sentencing. Omlor will be back in court this September.
