LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

A Dearborn County jury has recommended life in prison for a man convicted of murdering an Indiana woman.

Charles Stephenson was found guilty on Monday in the beating death of Leigh Jennings, 67.

On Tuesday, jurors listened to attorneys for both sides make their arguments on what sentence Stephenson should received.

The jury recommended life in prison. Formal sentencing will be at a later date.
