HILLSBORO, OH (FOX19) -

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating two reports of child enticement.

On both Monday and Tuesday of this week, a man was in the area of W. Collins and N. West Street just before 3 p.m.

The man followed a 12-year-old female home from where she was dropped off by the city school busy. He approached the child in a small black four-door car with Ohio temporary tags. The tag expires in May and the last two digits are believed to be 37.

The man told the girl he had a puppy in his back seat and asked if she'd like to see it. She screamed and ran home to contact police.

The man is described as being in his early 20's with dark hair.

Anyone with information should call the Hillsboro Police Department at 937-393-3411.
