BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The suspect in an armed robbery was identified after police circulated photos of him Friday morning.

Bowling Green Police released photos of the man after they say he robbed a Bowling Green resident at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

Police say after just a few hours the man was identified as Jesse S. Bays, 26, of Toledo.

Bays is described as a black male, 5'09″, 162 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Bays has multiple tattoos including one under his left eye.

Bays may be driving a 98 maroon Chevy Malibu missing its front hubcaps with an Ohio plate of FRF 7396. Bays is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.

A Toledo woman says Bays stole her car keys when she allowed him to use the bathroom of her apartment on Sunday morning. She says Bays then stole her maroon Chevy Malibu, the same vehicle police say he may now be driving.

Bays was identified on our Facebook post hours before police released his name:
