BEREA, OH (WOIO) -

Police in Berea are investigating the theft of almost $2K from a briefcase on the set of "Draft Day" starring Kevin Costner.

It happened at Cleveland Browns headquarters on May 21.

According to the police report, a movie employee arrived at the trailer around 2:30 p.m. after running some errands to pick up a few things that were requested by the actors.

He placed the envelope with the money in the outside pocket of his briefcase and then went outside to give Costner's driver several items.

Around 3:30 p.m., the employee checked on the money and realized it was gone.

The trailer is open to all cast and crew members, except extras.
