Berea, OH (WOIO) - Trent Richardson was held out of OTA's again on Thursday, as the Browns running back deals with a lower right leg strain, but insists he's not injury prone.
"Ain't no biggie", Richardson told reporters after working out on his own, while his teammates went through team drills. "Injury prone isn't me...I could practice, but they're just being careful so I'm good to go for camp."
Richardson ran for 950 yards and scored 11 touchdowns as a rookie in 2012, but played much of the season with bruised ribs, leading some to question whether he can withstand the pounding an NFL running back takes.
The third-overall pick in last year's draft insists he's fine, and is keeping up by staying in shape on his own, while learning new offensive coordinator Norv Turner's offense in meetings.
