OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) -

An Oregon man has been sentenced to three years probation after being acquitted in the death of his father.

Last month, a jury found Jacob Kutsch not guilty of voluntary manslaughter. Instead, they ruled he was only guilty of simple assault.

The charges stem from a fight between Kutsch and his father in November.

An autopsy found John Kutsch, 58, died of a heart attack following the fight with his son, not injuries from the actual fight.
