Dublin, OH (WOIO) - Tiger Woods has won the Memorial Tournament five times, including in 2012, but for awhile on Friday, the defending champ looked like he might actually miss the cut. Woods would rally, but at 1-over, is 10 off the lead, which belongs to Bill Hass. Play was suspended late in the day due to darkness.
"It was tough conditions out there. And I didn't exactly play my best either," Woods said. "It was a little rough out there and it's not that hard to make bogeys and doubles on this golf course. You hit the ball in the wrong spot, get the wrong gusts, and we had some shots in our group that ended up in some interesting spots."
