BRECKSVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

The FBI hit William Montague's beautiful home in Brecksville on Friday.

19 Action News the only TV News Crew on the scene as FBI agents and criminal investigators from the VA Inspector Generals Office went thru boxes of items on Montague's dining room table.

Bill Montague use to be the Director of seven VA Hospitals & Medical Centers including the one in Cleveland.

We knocked on his front door of Montague's home, a man was in the house but didn't answer.

Montague was on the job when the U.S. Government hired this guy Michael Forlani and his company Veterans Development to expand the VA Campus in Cleveland. A $129 million project.

Forlani was sentenced to 8 years in prison in April on multiple charges including bribing a former Cleveland City Council woman thru his 2nd company Doan Pyramid Electronics. 

The FBI and the VA Inspector Generals  Office will not comment. The search warrant is sealed by court order.

We have reached out to Bill Montague but he is not returning our calls.

He is not charged with any type of Federal violation or crime.
