BATH, OH (WOIO) -

It's not often that we get a drawing of a suspect this soon after an attempted abduction. Bath Township police are on the hunt for a man who tried to snatch a woman walking her dog.

It was 7:30 Monday evening in a quiet neighborhood that a 59-year-old woman, walking her dogs, was approach by the man.

Police say the man first told her to get in his van and then opened the driver door and said get in now!

We found a neighbor walking her dog "Precious" in the same area.

"It's unexpected. I'm looking at the neighborhood it seems fairly quiet. We're all being very careful now," said the woman.

The suspect was in an older mini-van with bad dark paint job and older tires.

"I just keep my eyes open around me. Looks like you've got your cell phone ready to go too? Ohh yeah I always have my cell phone," she added.

The woman describes the suspect as a man in his 30's about six foot tall, dark hair, and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

If you know someone who looks like this drives an old mini van, may have been in the area give Bath Township Police a call.
