CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News has learned, a financial settlement has been reached between a parking lot owner and the company producing the "Captain America" movie for closing the Shoreway.

Terms have not been revealed. But in court, attorneys for the Pit Parking Lot revealed they are also trying to reach a financial settlement with Cleveland City Hall for approving the road closing permit.

The parking lot took legal action against the producers and the city saying the closing of the Shoreway would cost the lot money.

On behalf of the lot owner, Cuyahoga Lakefront Land LLC, lawyers filed a request with the courts asking to restrain the movie companies currently shooting the "Captain America" film in Cleveland from "blocking vehicular and pedestrian access to the lot's West 3rd St. entrance for two full weeks.

According to Elias Kassouf, vice president of the firm owning the lot, the movie production "will prevent virtually 95% of our parking lot customers from entering our property."

The settlement with the producers was announced in the court of Judge Nancy Russo.

The other legal action is still pending.
