CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

In Lakewood, Ron Greenfield is spending his Wednesday evening watching his grandson's tee ball game. The 51-year-old enjoys time with his family; however he is already making plans to retire outside of the Buckeye state.

According to Nerdwallet.com, Cleveland is the second best city for retirement in the nation.

Our neighbors Pittsburgh, PA took the number one spot, with Buffalo, NY coming in third.

Nerdwallet.com took into consideration cost of living, public transportation, healthcare availability, and social life. Cleveland has a lot to offer their residents in all of these categories.

Also in Lakewood, was Cindy Miciak, who was relieved to hear Cleveland's high ranking because she had no plans of retiring somewhere else.

As for Ron, he still has several more years before putting his work days behind him.
