NASCAR's Keselowski visits Kentucky Speedway

Posted: Updated:

A NASCAR driver visited Kentucky Speedway on Wednesday to raise money for a good cause.

Reigning Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski participated in a team clay shoot, along with Kentucky Speedway employees.

The goal of the event was to raise money for Kentucky Speedway Children's Charities, a non-profit organization that works to improve the lives of Tri-State children through grants raised in various events and activities.

Besides winning the Quaker State 400 one year ago, Keselowski explained his other connections to the Kentucky Speedway.

"My mom's side of the family is from just north of Cincinnati, and so I'm sure I have a lot of family here. There's a lot of Penske sponsor people in this area as well so this track has some significant meaning to me," said Keselowski.

FOX19's Tricia Macke was also at the event, interviewing him an upcoming segment of 'Another Side Of'.
