Sweet Ride: Gordon Square merchants offering free treats to frustrated commuters

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The merchants in Gordon Square are providing a sweet commute along Detroit Avenue for westsiders re-routed during the filming of Captain America.

Neighborhood businesses offered free treats to commuters on Thursday morning and will do so again on Friday morning. The special drive through location will be set up at West 64th/Detroit Avenue in Cleveland's Gordon Square neighborhood. The Drive through will be set up on the south side of the street (right hand turn) in the AM, and on the north side of the street (right hand turn) in the PM.

On Friday morning, morning commuters will be offered a free coffee and mini muffin from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. from Gypsy Beans & Baking Company. On the ride home Thursday and Friday, Sweet Moses Treats will offer a free scoop of handmade ice cream from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
