CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Investigators are looking for a man caught on camera in a shootout with a store clerk.

The incident happened in May at a Marathon station near E. 88th and Buckeye in Cleveland.

Police have released surveillance video that shows the suspect, who police identify as Jason Hill.

Hill was reportedly arguing with a clerk. The clerk then follows Hill outside and takes a swing at him.

After that the video shows the suspect shooting the clerk in the leg, yet the clerk manages to shoot back, firing about a dozen shots at the suspect.

Police believe the suspect was also shot and wounded by the clerk during the shootout.

Cleveland Police have an arrest warrant out for Hill.

If you can help find him, call Crime Stoppers at 216-25-CRIME (7463) or CPD Fourth Dist. Detectives at 216-623-3120.

This incident comes to light as the city is trying new measures to fight gun violence. Cleveland Police is hosting a gun buyback to get weapons off the streets on June 15. That will be held at the Public Safety Building on Payne Ave.
