San Antonio, TX (WOIO) - San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker underwent an MRI on Wednesday, revealing a strained right hamstring.
The 3-time NBA champion injured the hamstring late in the second half of the Spurs' dominant victory over the Miami Heat Tuesday night. Parker left the game early, completing only 27 minutes in which he tallied six points and eight assists.
Following his MRI, Parker tweeted, "We'll see tomorrow how I feel. I really hope to play!!!"
The Spurs currently lead the NBA Finals 2-1, heading into Game 4 in San Antonio on Thursday night.
