Arlington, TX (WOIO) - After dropping the first seven games on this brutal road trip, the Indians found a way to finish strong, wrapping it up with their second straight win over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday night, 5-2 at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Mike Aviles belted a two-run home run in the second to open the scoring, and Michael Brantley followed with an RBI single in the third to make it 3-0, before the Rangers answered on Leonys Martin's solo home run in the bottom of the third.

Jason Kipnis responded with his 9th home run of the year in the fifth, and Carlos Santana's RBI double later in the inning made it 5-1 Indians.

Ubaldo Jimenez went five innings, giving up only one run on four hits, before turning it over to the bullpen.
