CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The Cincinnati Bengals are returning to HBO for another season of Hard Knocks.

A 24-person NFL Films crew will descend on the Queen City and start filming the Bengals training camp at Paul Brown Stadium next week.

Hard Knocks: The Cincinnati Bengals will focus on the daily lives and routines of players and coaches as they prepare for the 2013 NFL season.

The show will chronicle eleventh-year head coach Marvin Lewis and an intriguing mix of high-profile veterans, emerging stars, free agents and rookie hopefuls throughout training camp and the four-game preseason schedule.

Each week, players will experience drills, instruction, meetings and fun, while striving to prove they have what it takes to make the team and leave their mark in the NFL.

Camera and sound crews will be given unencumbered access to the players' and coaches' meeting rooms, training rooms, living quarters and practice fields.

This is not the Bengals first appearance on the show. The team was profiled back in 2009.

At the press conference on Thursday, the show's producer presented Bengals Coach Marvin Lewis with one of the Emmy's the show won for that 2009 season. Coach was thankful for the trophy but said "it's not the one we are striving for," referring to the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Hard Knocks will start its five episode run on Tuesday, August 6 at 10 p.m. on HBO. New episodes will be released each week culminating in the September 3 finale.
