Korey Kluber earned his first win at Progressive Field Sunday as the Indians defeated the Nationals 2-0. The shutout victory helped the Indians win the three game series with Nationals, while also improving the Tribe to .500.
Kluber was fantastic, pitching eight innings with eight strikeouts. Most impressive was his performance in the top of the 4th where he struck out three in a row, with runners on the corners.
Kluber and Indians worked their magic again in the 7th with bases loaded as Mark Reynolds got two outs on an unassisted double play ball hit to first base, followed by a ground out to end the inning.
21,845 fans were in attendance for Sunday's Fathers Day day game.
The Indians will start a three game series with the Kansas City Royals Monday night
