ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) -

The Elyria Police Department is mourning the loss of beloved K9 Stuka.

Stuka joined the department in 2007 and worked beside his handler, Officer Walker.

Police say Stuka enjoyed patrolling the streets and entertaining officers and the community during his down time.

Stuka will be sorely missed.
