Friends and relatives of Aliza Sherman are stepping up efforts to find her killer.

Sherman, a Cleveland Clinic fertility nurse, was stabbed 11 times in an attack outside of her attorney's office building near the intersection of East 12th and Hamilton Avenue on March 24.

Supporters are now raising money online to boost the CrimeStoppers reward, which currently stands at $25,000. In that appeal, includes a personal message from Aliza's daughter, Jennifer.

I am raising money to go towards the Crime Stoppers reward being offered, funding for events to raise awareness, as well as to help take care of my two youngest brothers who have since moved in with me after this horrific event shattered our lives. We'll probably search the rest of our lives for understanding of how another human being could commit such a cruel and barbaric act against such a kind and gentle soul, and will probably never be able to comprehend this type of evil. What we can find is an answer to who committed this horrific crime and stole our beautiful mother from us. Our main goal now is to honor our mother by bringing the monster(s) responsible for her murder to justice.

Organizers are also circulating a petition calling on the city of Cleveland to devote as many resources as possible to help solve Aliza's murder. You may view the petition HERE.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463 or visit the Crime Stoppers web site and leave a confidential web tip. With Crime Stoppers, you never give your name - you remain anonymous.
