INDEPENDENCE, OH (WOIO) -

The Cavaliers introduced two of their three newest members on Friday, as top-pick Anthony Bennett and second-round pick Carrick Felix arrived at Cleveland Clinic Courts.

"First time we saw Anthony, I think all of us walked out of the gym amazed at his talent," said GM Chris Grant.

Bennett, the 6'8" power forward out of UNLV, averaged 16 points and eight rebounds as a freshman.

"The more we got to know him and learn what kind of person he was, and that he was an incredibly hard worker, it became an easy decision for us," said Grant.

Bennett said he has only been playing basketball for six years and he was never really serious about it, until he started growing. The former Canadian hoops star also said he use to keep a list of all the players he dunked on. "The list got to be over 100 then I stopped," said Bennett.

Bennett said he will bring versatility to the Cavs with the ability to play inside and out. "I'm going to do whatever it takes to win," he said. With Bennett being a more versatile player, it will help spread the floor for Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters, which will lead to easier baskets.

However, Bennett does play the same position that is occupied by veteran Tristan Thompson. When Mike Brown was asked about the possibility of a position battle he said "he (Bennett) can be used in a lot of different ways." Brown also added that it is good to have depth at all the positions.
