A Fulton County deputy was transported to the hospital after hitting a deer on Friday night.

Sheriff's Deputy Amos Boysell was patrolling south on State Route 108, near Wauseon, when a deer hit the windshield of his cruiser. Deputies at the scene say Boysell had no time to avoid the deer.
