Dennis Rodman is many things. He is a former NBA player, a great rebounder, a figure in the media, and always an entertainer. According to Rodman, we need to add "Nobel Peace Prize winner" to the list.
The former Chicago Bull believes his February trip to North Korea was enough to put him in contention for one of the world's most cherished prizes. During the trip, Rodman met with the country's leader, Kim Jong-un to "help break the ice" between North Korea and the U.S.
Rodman recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and said, "Fact is, he hasn't bombed anywhere he's threatened yet. Not South Korea, not Hawaii not...whatever." He said, "If I don't finish in the top three for the next Nobel Prize, something's seriously wrong."
Whether or not Rodman's wish will come true is yet to be seen, but he is definitely staying busy. The former All-Star is expected to return to North Korea in August to continue more of his "Nobel Prize worthy" negotiations.
